Tempo is the culmination of years of study, practice, and focus to create something special to help others. After years of working within a variety of healthcare settings, Tempo Acupuncture and Light Therapy was created as an opportunity to return to a slower, more individualized model of care.
Tempo was designed to provide time, attention, thoughtful reassessment, and personalized treatment planning while integrating acupuncture and photobiomodulation within a calm and supportive environment.

Starting when I was in first grade, I spent many years navigating a chronic blood disorder that required frequent medical care, hospital visits, and ongoing monitoring and treament. Those experiences introduced me to healthcare from the patient's perspective at an early age and left a lasting impression on how important thoughtful, compassionate care can be during times of uncertainty.
They also provided an early lesson in the interconnected nature of health and illness. Even as a child, I noticed that periods of stress, poor sleep, illness, exhaustion, and other life circumstances often seemed to influence how I felt physically, and had measurable impact on the state of my illness. Those observations sparked an enduring curiosity about the body's capacity to adapt, recover, and respond to the many factors that shape health over time.
Perhaps most importantly, those experiences fostered a deep respect for the human side of healthcare and a lasting compassion for individuals navigating illness, and recovery.
